Healthy play under way after school

Active After-School Communities program co-ordinator and coach Nicola Dark was keen to promote sports participation after completing an Australian Sports Commission coach and training program.

‘The after-school program is a great way for the students to take part in a variety of sport- based activities which may be new to them, in a fun, inclusive, games-based environment,’ she said.

‘The students are also taught about the importance of healthy eating.’
