About 20 people will walk 12km from Burns Beach to Hillarys Boat Harbour to raise money for the National Heart Foundation.
Their inspiration is colleague Lynn Thomason’s son Barry who died last September aged 32 from an undiagnosed heart condition.
‘We hope to raise $5000 from sponsorship and are already at about $2600,’ spokeswoman Joanne Connell-Davies said.
