Help Vinnies to be able to support others

Ocean Reef Vinnies conference member Clement Astruc said the idea for the event came after an increase in the number of local calls for assistance.

‘This is an important cause to support because without the assistance of the wider community we are unable to assist those that need help,’ he said. ‘We want to promote awareness of the St Vincent de Paul Society and we want the community to know they can count on Vinnies when they fall on hard times.

‘This event is about coming together as a community and supporting those currently experiencing disadvantage.’
