The State Library of WA’s Sing with Me program offers packs containing books and popular rhymes for two- to three-year-olds, which are available free from City of Wanneroo libraries.

It aims to support parents as their child’s first teacher, with the belief that sharing books and songs from birth builds early language skills and improves future literacy.Wanneroo Mayor Tracey Roberts said it would help toddlers learn rhymes and encourage them to read.

“This program is an exciting initiative because it helps build relationships and teach important skills in a fun environment,” she said.
