The school recently put together about 40 boxes of items to give to those less fortunate as part of Operation Christmas Child.

In two weeks, students collected items including clothing, toys, games, stationery, toiletries and jewellery and wrote accompanying letters to be packaged up and distributed by Samaritan’s Purse to children aged 2 to 14.

Deputy principal Kim Atkins said the activity would help those who would not otherwise have a present to open on Christmas Day.
