Hocking PS unveils new mosaic mural

A MOSAIC mural that features four students was recently unveiled at Hocking Primary School.

Visual art specialist Liney Sveinbjornsson co-ordinated a project to create the mural for the school’s 10th anniversary.

Nineteen students were involved in the drawing and design of the mosaic and four students feature in it – Year 1’s Remi Calder, Year 2’s Phoebe Scadden, Year 3’s Daniel Gullotto and Year 5’s Nathan Jeyakumar.

Education Minister Sue Ellery visited the school on December 8 to unveil the 10m-long artwork at an event celebrating the school’s first 10 years.
