Police probe Perth woman’s death

DETECTIVES investigating the death of a woman in Perth say the death is not suspicious.

Police were called to a house in Clogher Street, Ridgewood about 6:15am on Christmas Eve following reports of a disturbance.

Officers were informed that a woman had been seriously injured and taken to hospital.

Police attended the Joondalup Health Campus and the house in Ridgewood.

A woman in her 30s died at Joondalup Health Campus shortly afterwards.

A spokesman for WA Police said: “Detectives investigating the death of a woman at Joondalup Health Campus have at this time deemed the woman’s death to be not suspicious.

“The woman received an injury at a residence in Ridgewood prior to being taken to hospital,” he added.

“The results of a post-mortem examination will be reviewed, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.”
