Mr Bly was at his Warrandyte Drive home about 4pm, when a high-powered Ford Falcon became airborne and landed on top of his Holden Astra.
The driver, a 28-year-old Osborne Park man, was charged with careless driving.
The accused and a passenger received minor injuries.
