Glengarry Private Hospital chief executive Dani Meinema said the hospital was thrilled to celebrate the special occasion.

‘Seeing our first baby born at the hospital return to have her first baby 36 years later is amazing,’ Ms Meinema said.

‘Even more remarkable is the fact that two of the midwives who cared for Alison and her mother are still working at Glengarry and were able to be a part of the memorable occasion.

‘These celebrations are a true reflection of the care and community spirit at Glengarry.’

Mrs Limb and her husband Clint Ackerman’s son James was born on April 30.

‘I was looking forward to going to Glengarry as my mum had told me how well we were looked after, but as it is our first baby I was a bit nervous,’ Mrs Limb said.

‘However, the staff made a big effort to make the birth as stress-free as possible and having the midwife Mary there made it even more special.’
