INVESTIGATORS are at a Gnangara home after a fire broke out late last night, with the cost of damage estimated to be $500,000.
A Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesperson said a house on Sydney Road was reported to be filled with smoke at 11.19pm.
“It was reported at 2.03am that the fire was extinguished,” she said.
“The cause is undetermined but the fire investigation unit is having a look into it.”
The DFES spokesperson said it was predicted about 90 per cent of the house was lost.
