Head of secondary school Brett Roberts said he was extremely pleased to see so many people attend the service.
I think next year we will see an even larger group of people attend our Anzac dawn service, he said.
We would like this to be more than a school event we would like to see this become a whole community event where people come together to remember those who gave their lives.
Cowan MHR Luke Simpkins said it was great to see people of all ages being involved in Anzac Day.
To see the next generation involved and more schools and organisations committing, this demonstrates the pride in our community to be part of this, he said.
St Stephens Schools Duncraig campus also held commemorative services through the day.
