The Year 11 student is studying the Year 12 course this year and has given up his school holidays to complete work experience in the electorate office of Moore MHR Mal Washer.

The 15 year old said despite its sometimes poor reputation politics was a way to have a positive influence on society.

‘I have learnt that working in politics you have to have a diverse range of skills to deal with everyday tasks and effective communication is essential to the functionality of politics,’ he said.

‘This experience has definitely been a highlight for me and it has confirmed my dream to enter politics.’
