Its Community Invitation Art Award Exhibition will run from this Sunday, October 27 to November 15 at Lakeside Joondalup Shopping City.

The City has tweaked its invitation award, which is in its 16th year, to promote local professional artists by inviting only City residents or members of the Joondalup Community Art Association.

The overall winner will receive $7000 and their work acquired by the City for its art collection and display at its buildings.

The runner-up will get $2000. Other prizes include an excellence award ($2000), Celebrating Joondalup Award ($2000) and people’s choice ($2000).
