Established almost 20 years ago, the library has hundreds of toys, games, ride-ons, puzzles, dress-ups, CDs and parent resources on loan.
The City of Joondalup recently gave a $2085 grant for more stock and the group is working with Joondalup Men’s Shed for extra shelving.
Secretary Shelley Giles said recent additions included children’s cookbooks on allergy-friendly food, party cooking and ‘hiding’ vegetables.
The toy library, which could cater for up to 100 families, had room for more. ‘Members can borrow for up to three weeks and we are happy to show prospective members around,’ she said.
Situated at Whitford Family Centre in Endeavour Road, it is open on Saturdays 9am-11am.
