Sergeant Mark Hollows said a man stole an expensive gold chain and bracelet after entering the store about 3.20pm on October 21.
‘He browsed around the store for some time before approaching the counter and asking the assistant to look at the two expensive pieces of jewellery,’ Sgt Hollows said.
‘The assistant placed the pieces of jewellery on a tray and showed them to the male, who quickly grabbed them and ran out of the store, making no attempt to pay.’
The man police want to speak to was described as having tanned skin and in his late 20s to early 30s, with a long light brown goatee, light brown really long straight hair in a pony tail and a tattoo on his right arm.
