Police allege they saw the accused men climb through the broken window and into a waiting Toyota Hilux when the officers arrived about 5am on Candlewood Drive.

Police Media spokeswoman Ros Weatherall said the vehicle left the area towards Burns Beach Road.

“Police attempted to stop the car a short time later on Joondalup Drive in Carramar, however the car continued to allegedly evade police before entering a rural property on Rustic Gardens,” she said.

“The car then became bogged and the two men were apprehended at the scene.”
