Kids Community Exchange sees pre-loved toys and books sold at Whitford City

WHITFORD City shopping centre helped local residents and community groups to sell their pre-loved toys and books on July 16.

The inaugural Kids Community Exchange featured a range of items, from retro Pokémon cards to school uniforms, with groups able to raise funds for their chosen charities.

Padbury Primary School used the opportunity to fundraise for its Parents and Friends committee, while other groups chose to support local families in need.

The one-day event also included face painting, toy and teddy mending by Dolly Nurse and The Big Dreamers workshop.
