KINGSWAY Christian College has increased its library catalogue thanks to a donation from a Darch business.

The school received $2000 from Darch IGA, which it used to purchase books for reluctant readers and students with dyslexia.

It selected books to suit years 3 to 9 students that would offer leisurely reading while strengthening their vocabulary and grammar.

Principal Peter Burton said the donation would provide long-term benefits to students.

“We are extremely grateful for this donation and believe that these new resources will help foster a love of reading and develop literacy skills within our college,” he said.

Darch IGA manager Glenn Morton presented the school with a cheque at its June assembly.
