The proposed ‘southern suburbs library’ was originally planned for Madeley, but the council decided to look for alternative sites after protracted negotiations to secure the land beside Kingsway City shopping centre.

Visit www.wanneroo.wa.gov.au to have a say on the proposed library at Landsdale Forum, overlooking Broadview Park.

Consultation will also include a jar poll at the City’s existing libraries in the last two weeks.

The City plans to build the library in 2021-22.
