KIDS got colourful raising money and their heart rates for a fun run at Landsdale Primary School last month.

P&C member Melissa George said students enjoyed setting fundraising goals as part of the CUA School Fun Run.

“Our students involved family and friends in their fundraising efforts to go towards school resources while they geared up for the fun run,” she said.

The event also involved local police and firefighters who threw coloured powders over the kids.

CUA School Fun Runs aim to connect local schools with the wider community to raise funds while promoting student health and financial education.

Last year 27,732 students from WA schools took part in fun runs, raising more than $666,000 for the state.
