A 56-year-old Landsdale woman has been charged with stealing more than $1.2 million from businesses where she worked in Wangara and Malaga over the past decade.

A recent audit by the Wangara business identified 153 suspicious transactions – valued at more than $520,000 – between 2014 and 2017.

Police alleged the woman transferred this money into her own bank account while working there.

Between 2009 and 2014, she also allegedly made 236 transactions at a Malaga company where she worked – transferring more than $699,000 into her own account.

The woman was charged with 32 counts of stealing as a servant and will appear at the Joondalup Magistrates Court on February 14.
