Learning about campus life

The Joondalup campus was transformed, with more than 80 food and market stalls and a range of attractions and games.

Among the biggest drawcards was the fun career-predicting ‘bunny ears’, the floating Bulk Carrier art work and the chance to meet the Perth Wildcats and West Coast Eagles.

ECU Vice-Chancellor Professor Kerry Cox said the event was a great way for people to learn about the exciting possibilities an education at ECU could offer.

‘Open day is a very important day for those outside the university to see the friendliness and service-orientated nature of ECU staff and students,’ he said.

‘We strive to make higher education accessible in a supportive environment to those in our local communities so that they can increase their participation in the global knowledge economy in which we all live and work.

‘That’s how university should be.’

ECU’s Mount Lawley campus will have an open day on August 10.
