PUBLIC consultation on plans for a $2.5 million Liberty roadhouse in Landsdale will close next week.

The City of Wanneroo has invited submissions until May 2 on plans for the fuel station and restaurant on the corner of Cowle Street and Gnangara Road.

The roadhouse intends to open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Submissions will be included in a report from the City to the Metro North-West Joint Development Assessment Panel, which will determine the development application.

Transcore’s traffic impact assessment said the service station was compatible with the surrounding industrial land uses.

It said the additional traffic generated after allowing for passing trade was estimated to be about 88 and 98 vehicle trips during weekday morning and afternoon peak hours respectively.

“This level of traffic generation is relatively minimal and as such would have insignificant impact on the abutting road network,” it said.
