Limelight Theatre mural by Trevor Bly sets stage for Wanneroo Repertory Club

WANNEROO Repertory Club hopes a large mural at Limelight Theatre will help lift the venue’s profile.

President Shelley McGinn said the committee decided to commission the 21x3m mural on the west-facing wall because they were often asked where the theatre was.

“If you drive up from the shopping centre, you will see the theatrical mural, which can leave residents in no doubt that there is a thriving community theatre in Wanneroo,” she said.

Artist Trevor Bly designed the mural and took about four days to paint it with help from a few other people.

Mrs McGinn said the club also installed bold signage on the other walls to lift the theatre’s profile.
