Mr Simms will seek the council’s approval at the meeting for the two to join a federal lobbying delegation with the cities of Joondalup and Wanneroo in November.
His report said the tri-cities advocacy visit would involve meetings with representatives from both federal parties and government agencies.
‘Increasing the awareness of the strategic issues affecting the City of Wanneroo and the northern corridor of Perth will assist council in attaining federal funding, which increases the financial sustainability of the City,’ it said.
