Locals sample south-of-the-border fare

It was the first drive-though restaurant for Zambrero in WA, which has replaced Chicken Treat on the corner of Joondalup Drive and Shenton Avenue.

Franchise WA area developer Gordon Bain said locals now had an alternative to burgers when wanting convenient food.

‘Most of us lead very busy lives so having the option to drive through makes picking up a quick lunch or dinner a lot easier,’ he said.

He said the Joondalup location would work well because there were no other Mexican food options in the area.
