‘Lost’ super can yield easy money

In Joondalup and Wanneroo alone, there is almost $200 million unaccounted for across 25,873 accounts.

The amount lost by people who live in the 6027 postcode " which covers Beldon, Connolly, Edgewater, Heathridge, Joondalup, Mullaloo and Ocean Reef " is almost $30 million.

This makes an average of $8219 per lost account, one of the highest across WA. These details are contained in Westpac's 2015 Lost Super Report, along with a comparison as to the amount people generate through holding a garage sale or selling unwanted items online.
