READ NOWVillage social coordinator Joy Francis said the day started with the field umpire explaining the rules and the team captains going over the strengths and weaknesses of the skills on the opposing sides.
She said there were many spectators to cheer on the competitors, with the winning team determined by the “accumulative scoring of points for successful through-the-goal-posts bowls”.

“This was just one of the many ongoing activities and functions the village’s ‘young at heart’ residents enjoy.”
