A MADELEY park is set to become a pooches’ paradise for the annual Dog’s Breakfast next month.

The free City of Wanneroo event will feature nearly 40 stalls offering local canine-related products and services, as well as activities and competitions for dogs and their owners.

“Dog’s Breakfast is a highlight on the City’s events calendar and this year will see hundreds of residents descend on Kingsway Regional Sporting Complex to enjoy an exciting family day out,” Mayor Tracey Roberts said.

“Both dogs and their owners love this event because of the large range of things to experience throughout the day, from the free vet checks to fun competitions.”

There will be washing and grooming services, free microchipping for the first 100 dog attendees, and children can enjoy free face painting, bouncy castle and dog-friendly photo booth.

Owners can seek stardom for their furry pal by entering the Next Top Dog Model, My Dog’s Got Talent and Pooch Look-A-Likes competitions, with more than $3000 worth of prizes on offer.

Other activities include sheep shearing demonstrations and making doggy flower crown creations.

The Dog’s Breakfast is on October 22 from 9am to 1pm.
