The crooner recently visited Cambrai Village in Merriwa to perform for the residents and bring the sounds of Martin to life for one hour.
“I have always wanted to do something like this, put something back into the community,” Peden said.
“I love doing what I do and there are a lot of people that for one reason or another can’t get out to a show so I take the show to them.

READ NOW“Dean Martin still touches the hearts of people in aged care and there have been a few moments when a resident has got upset because of a certain song, which on a couple of occasions has put a lump in my throat.”
Peden volunteers to perform at aged care facilities and retirement villages all over Perth.
“Aged care is just one of the issues in our community and being able to put together one hour’s entertainment for them is great,” he said.
“The people who work at these places are very special.”
Peden likes to interact with the audience, quizzing them on Martin and offering prizes for correct answers.
