A CARRAMAR resident has been charged over a gold swindle at Perth Mint.
Gold Stealing Detection Unit officers allege the 27-year-old man stole $75,000 of gold bars and coins while he worked as a contractor at the building.
Police charged the accused with stealing as a servant. He is due to face Perth Magistrates Court on June 24.
