Senior Sergeant Brad Burnett said police charged the 26-year-old of no fixed address after finding an allegedly stolen Ford ute at a house in Hocking on January 27.
Sen Sgt Burnett alleged the man was in possession of stolen jewellery at the time.
Upon further investigation, the man was accused of assaulting a police officer in Ballajura on January 18.
