POLICE have charged a man over a fire in Girrawheen which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
About 12.30am the man attempted to enter a service station on Marangaroo Drive.
After being unable to get inside, he walked to the rear of the store and allegedly set fire to items inside a skip bin.

The fire caused minor damage to the surrounding area.
A 35-year-old man from Greenwood has been charged with criminal damage by fire, attempted burglary with intent and stealing.
He is due to appear in Joondalup Magistrates Court on November 26.
Investigations into further fires in the area are continuing.
