Man charged over ‘glassing’ at pub

Police said the alleged victim, in his mid-20s, had been watching the soccer at The Blvd Tavern in the early hours of June 15 when he became involved in an altercation with a 32-year-old man.

District superintendent Charlie Carver said the argument escalated, with the alleged offender smashing a pint glass across the man’s face.

The injured patron was treated for head wounds at Joondalup Health Campus.

Police charged a Quinns Rocks man with unlawful wounding.
