Man dies in Carabooda tree-lopping accident

A MAN has died in a tree-lopping accident in Carabooda this afternoon.

Police were called to attend a Trian Road property at 1.45pm after a man was reported to have received fatal injuries.

A 46-year-old man was on the property cutting trees.

He became pinned between two parts of the tree he was cutting and received fatal injuries.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services also attended the scene, after being called to assist by police.
