Police this month charged the Broome man with a range of offences over the July 3 incident.
Investigators allege the 33-year-old man entered a Grandis Boulevard property armed with a knife and demanded money from an occupant, who was known to him.
He is accused of punching the victim in the face and stabbing the knife into a door in a threatening manner.
He allegedly stole computer equipment, jewellery, perfume, mobile phones and cash. The victim was treated at Joondalup Health Campus for a serious eye injury.
