A MARANGAROO man has been charged with 12 offences after an alleged pursuit ended with police accusing him of striking an officer in the face last night.
Police said they attempted to stop a vehicle without success about 10pm on Beach Road in Hamersley on June 16.
Police Media spokeswoman Sarah Dyer said the officers saw the vehicle again a short time later on Camberwell Street in Balga but it again allegedly failed to stop.

READ NOWPolice pursued the vehicle to Wanneroo Road in Balga, where Ms Dyer said the accused allegedly drove the Holden Commodore into a police car before colliding with a bollard. The 40-year-old man is accused of attempting to run from the scene before being apprehended.
He allegedly struck an officer to the face causing minor damage to his lip during the arrest.
The officer was treated at Joondalup Health Campus. There were no injuries to the officers in the damaged police car.
Police charged the man with two counts each of aggravated armed robbery, reckless driving and failing to stop.
He was charged with one count of assaulting a public officer, driving without a licence, aggravated burglary, attempted aggravated burglary and drug possession.
