A SUSPENDED P-plate driver was allegedly driving an unregistered ute carrying a baby without a seat belt in Marangaroo on Wednesday.

Police stopped the 20-year-old Girrawheen woman after noticing the Holden had no licence plates.

A nine-month-old child was in the front seat. Police said the vehicle had no number plates because officers had previously seized them.

The vehicle was impounded for 28 days.

The woman was charged with unlicensed driving, driving an unregistered vehicle, not securing a passenger and not displaying P-plates.
