Maths camp adds up

Students from years 9 to 12, former students and volunteer school and university teachers took part in the UWA Aspire program, which is now in its seventh year.

‘Our summer school helps students make that connection and develop the ability to tackle mathematics head on,’ head of mathematics Russell Miln said.

‘Student aspirations to gain university entrance are nurtured and then the skills needed to succeed at university are developed.’
