Minister petitioned to protect coast

Ms McKinnon, who is the community co-ordinator for The Kimberley – Like Nowhere Else, joined members from Environs Kimberley in Perth to deliver the petitions, which she believes will add weight to previous research they have presented to Mr Jacob.

“The draft marine park plans that have so far been released by government for the Kimberley haven’t yet met a world-class standard, but we’re hoping this strong sign of community support will help achieve what the Kimberley coast deserves,” she said.
