The 49-year-old rides 40km to and from work at St John of God Hospital each day.
It’s no surprise then, that he’s looking forward to joining more than 100 colleagues for WA’s longest running community cycling event on Sunday.
The Santos Great Bike Ride for Charity, which has run annually for over 10 years, aims to raise more than $200,000 for St John of God Horizon House and Hope for Children.
Mr Willimann, the hospital’s catering manager and last year’s biggest fundraiser, was hoping to see no rain, accidents or punctures, just ‘pure enjoyment’.
