A 28-year-old motorcyclist has died after being injured during an event at Barbagallo Raceway on Saturday.
It is believed the man was competing in the State Road Racing Championships when his bike left the track and entered a sand patch.
He was thrown from the vehicle and struck a tyre wall.

WA Police is investigating the circumstances of the death and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
