The fund, introduced by the then Labor Government earlier this year to improve wages for early childhood educators, is under review following a change of government in September.
Co-ordinator Therese Cordier said her centre had conditional approval for funding to improve staff wages and was awaiting paperwork when the government changed.
‘In late September, with a change of government, a review of the fund was announced to consider the establishment process and implementation,’ she said.
‘This may result in the government deciding to distribute funds in a different way.
