The works " by Nyungar artists Sharyn Egan, Richard Walley and Lance Chadd Tjillyungoo " will join a selection of other artworks from ECU's Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art collection at ECU's Mt Lawley campus from July 6 to 10.
The commissioned works are based on native animals bindi bindi (double-spotted line blue butterfly), jingee (honeyeater) and ngoolark (Carnaby's black cockatoo), all elements that form part of the design of ECU's new $72 million Ngoolark building at the Joondalup campus.
ECU's Naidoc celebrations also include screenings of the short film Walking Together - Belonging to Country and flag raising ceremonies open to the public at its campuses.
