There are more than 240 children enrolled from kindergarten to Year 6 but student numbers were “growing every single day”.

The school will have a focus on early childhood education through its nature playground, as well as arts and science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).

“The technology is state-of- the art because it’s all new,” Ms Giacomucci said.

“We’ve got a really good, fast internet service.”

She said a large number of teaching applications were received, with 17 staff employed, including two graduate teachers.

“We’ve got a diverse range of skilled teachers from across the State,” she said.
