Joondalup councillors unanimously agreed to the name of the carpark, which will be constructed between Boas Avenue and Reid Promenade, at last Tuesday’s meeting.

At the July 8 council briefing, corporate services director Mike Tidy said using a street name was in line with the City’s naming policy and made it easier for people to find the carpark.

The project was recently allocated $17.9 million when the City endorsed its 2014-15 budget.

Construction is expected to be complete by August 2015.
