New policy for Wanneroo’s Community History Centre

Laura PondWanneroo Times

Established in 2009 at the Wanneroo Regional Museum, the centre boasts a collection of books, photos, maps, newspapers and oral history interviews about the region’s heritage.

The 2016 Community History Centre Collection Policy includes expanding its objective to provide a framework for management of the centre, its service and resources, clarifying stakeholders’ roles and responsibilities and ensuring consistent management procedures.

It has also added the Heritage Services Advisory Group as a stakeholder to be consulted and guidelines for staff and financial implications.
