Stage one of St Elizabeth’s Catholic Primary School is under way with buildings for kindergarten to Year 2 to be completed for term 3 next year.

Foundation principal Carmel O’Shaughnessy said St Elizabeth’s ” on the corner of Wanneroo Road and Kirkstall Drive ” would provide relief for nearby schools with long wait-lists.

‘Stage 1 will include kindergarten classes (double stream) to Year 2, a library, the admin building will be finished and the undercover area and the necessary parking and playgrounds, for that will be completed as well,’ she said.

‘We already have 10 enrolments for 2018, that is really good when you’re projecting numbers out especially when we’ve only advertised on the Catholic Education Office website.’

The principal said it was an honour to start a new school.

‘I am very into community so I want a community school where parents have a genuine input into everything we do,’ she said. Inquiries 6380 5270.
