She said two neighbouring schools were ‘bulging at the seams’ and that the Government had ignored the community’s concerns.
With record student enrolments, Education Minister Peter Collier said priority had been given to areas most in need.
‘A number of schools across the state are experiencing accommodation pressures and the State Government needs to ensure a fair process is followed,’ he said.
‘Two million dollars has been allocated for an early childhood annexe in south Landsdale.’
He said it would accommodate children in kindergarten to pre-primary, with construction to be completed soon.
‘The annexe is located on the same site identified by the Department of Education for a future primary school,’ he said.
