WANNEROO’S once-a-year event is back in town this month when the Wanneroo Agricultural Society’s 108th Wanneroo Show kicks off on Friday, November 24 at 4pm.

It continues at Wanneroo Showground on Saturday, November 25 from 9am to 10.30pm, and the organising committee has a great fun-filled show planned.

There will be equestrian events, daredevil motorcycle ASP Motocross display, sideshow alley rides and stalls, animal farms and all the vegetable and arts and crafts exhibits in the Margaret Cockman Pavilion.

A massive fireworks display will go off with a bang both nights at 9.15pm.

But a new, small animal might just grab showgoers attention for an hour or so when Wanneroo’s first Australian miniature goat competition is held on Saturday at 10am.

The Australian miniature goat breed was started in Australia in 2000.

The cute small goats are described as friendly, intelligent, hardy and gentle.

Tickets for the Wanneroo Show to see the little goats and all the fun of the show can be bought on-line at www.wannerooshow.com.
